Meet The Owner
Debbie Glanton - Founder and owner of Lovee's Cakes located in South Ogden, UT. Debbie began Lovee's Cakes nine years ago by selling specialty cakes and desserts out of her home kitchen. Good news traveled fast as friends, neighbors, and everyone with a "sweet tooth" ordered her spectacular specialty cakes, and delicious homemade desserts such as Potato Chip Cookies, Chocolate Covered Bacon Strips, Apple and Cherry Crisps, Pineapple Bars, Peanut Butter Bars, Chocolate Cheesecake Bites and an assortment of mouthwatering cupcakes, just to name a few. Since her initial opening, Debbie has created a loyal following throughout Northern Utah and established Lovee's Cakes as the "go to place" for high quality specialty cakes and outrageously good homemade desserts.

Thank you for your continued support and words of encouragement during these trying times. Without you, Lovee’s Cakes would not be able to survive and serve our community. As we rebound from the impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic, please know that your patience, friendship, and continued support has really made the difference between survival and having to close our doors. As an African American small business owner in Utah, I also feel an obligation to comment on the Black Lives Matter movement and why this is such a critical time for all of us. The Black Lives Matter Movement is not just about human rights. It’s also about civil rights. This is a time for all of us to step back and reflect on what’s really happening in America. We need to be honest and acknowledge the fact that many people of color right here in Utah still have to face and struggle for certain freedoms on a daily basis. The public killing of George Floyd is the “final straw” for all of us!! Black Lives Do Matter!! I want to offer a heartfelt THANK YOU to my friends and groups on Facebook, Instagram and the Standard Examiner who shared the local black businesses in Utah article! Your support and personal words of encouragement means a lot to me. I know that you too believe in justice. I am especially appreciative and grateful for the many new customers who recently traveled from Salt Lake City and other parts of Utah to visit Lovee’s Cakes to try some delicious cupcakes, voice their support for this important movement, and to personally let me know that I am making a difference.
